Four Steps to Choosing a Restaurant Week Menu

There are many great menus for Restaurant Week this year. So, how do you possibly narrow down where to eat? Here’s what I suggest.
1. Read through the menus
2. Go do something else.
3. See what dishes you can’t stop thinking about.
4. Make a reservation.
Me? For some reason, I cannot stop thinking about what I’d order at Bubba for a phenomenally well-priced ($40) lunch for two (shared appetizer, two entrees, shared dessert): We’d start with the sweet corn chowder with chicharrón, heirloom tomato pico de gallo and chili pepper. I’d move on to the Heirloom Tomato Tart with basil pesto, white cheddar and herbs. We’d finish with the Texas Sheet Cake (I especially cannot stop thinking about that sheet cake!).
