Here's what I discovered about Oak Park on today's private tour. Plus photos.
Today, when I unexpectedly got an invite to tour the new Oak Park restaurant (at 39th and Ingersoll), I went in with five questions, and came out with four answers. The answer to the first and most important question (when will it open?*) will be revealed possibly on Wednesday, I’m told. Below are the questions, followed by a look at the interior.
*UPDATE: Oak Park will open on October 17.

1. When Is Oak Park Opening?
UPDATE: Oak Park will open October 17.
The restaurant will be open 4:30 to 9:30 on Tuesdays through Saturdays.
2. How Do I Get a Reservation?
UPDATE: Reservations are open — check out their website. However, unless you want to eat at 4:30 p.m. or 9 p.m., they’re already booked through December.
