How to Get Holiday Pies from Local Microbakers: Who, What, When, and Where.
Ordering deadlines are coming up very soon!
I adore our microbakers, but they don’t always make it easy to get all the details at once—sometimes addresses, holiday deadlines, pickup info, and costs, etc., are spread across social media, email blasts, and website pages.
To help, I chased down the information you need to get a pie in your hands this Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Which Pie Maker Is Best?
I have tried pies from each of these bakers. If I had a favorite, you know I’d tell you, right? Honestly, each baker is stellar at her craft, and I highly recommend every single one of them. Period. The one you choose will likely have more to do with where you live than which one is “best.” Your pick might also hinge on whether you like lard, Crisco, or butter in your crust. Conveniently, there’s a baker for each.
P.S.: I will tell you which pies I’ve personally enjoyed from each baker, but most make all kinds of pies, so choose what sounds best to you!
