By all reports (including one from my trusted contributor, Andy Lyons), Basic Bird, which opened its permanent bricks-and-mortar location in Beaverdale earlier this month, is knocking it out of the park. But soon, Joe and Alex Tripp’s Korean fried chicken joint will have company in the field: Chikin Lickin is headed to Waukee.
