Here are the highlights—including great food finds and fascinating insights from local chefs and restaurateurs—that I’ve reported on over the last eight months of writing this column. I’ll also offer a list of my six most popular posts—columns that readers read, liked, and shared the most.

I started writing this Substack in May 2023; I wasn’t sure where it would go, but I thought I’d give it a few months to see if it took off. I’m happy to report that it has—I now have almost 30K reads per month (a fast start, I’m told), along with almost 2,500 subscribers. Not all of those are paid, of course—not by a long shot.
