Nothing I’ve written lately has garnered more views than my recent piece on the $20 prix-fixe meals from Vita restaurant. But that’s no surprise, really. I’ve never met anyone, flush or frugal, who doesn’t appreciate a bargain.

Ergo, bargain hunters (which is to say anyone) might want to consider a Wednesday night foray to Opa! Italian and Greek Restaurant in West Des Moines. That’s when all the steaks on their menu—including the de Burgo—go for $14.99, and happy-hour pricing—including $5 glasses of house wine—runs all night.
