Greetings! A few noteworthy bits of info for local food lovers, starting with a Latino take on Restaurant Week.
Latino Restaurant Week Starts Next Week
The first annual Latino Restaurant Week will be held from September 13 through 21. It is organized by the newly formed Iowa Latino Hospitality Council, an initiative of the Iowa Restaurant Association.
During these 11 days, the two dozen participating restaurants will offer prix-fixe menus with two-course lunches at two for $25 and three-course dinners at two for $50.
It’s a great opportunity to explore cuisines that are less commonly found in our area, beyond the more well-known and much-loved combo plates.
