Surprise! It’s Open.

Bill the Informant gives us a sneak peek of Tous Les Jours, which opened yesterday.

Cakes at Tous les Jours. As you may already know, “Tous les Jours” means “every day.” But these are hardly everyday cakes!

I don’t usually email you on a holiday weekend, but this one felt worth it: Tous les Jours, the French-Asian bakery chain, quietly opened yesterday (July 4) at 6880 EP True Pkwy. (near Jordan Creek). According to their website, they’re open daily, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Phone: 816-217-0124.

The opening date kept shifting, but “Bill the Informant” (who’s now earned a lifetime paid subscription for his sleuthing) was on the scene with photos and intel. I haven’t braved the heat—or the opening-weekend crowds—yet, but I wanted to share everything I know so far, including Bill’s pics.

Note: Bill reported long lines, but said the staff kept up. He also spotted an Instagram post saying they sold out by 4:30. I’d expect even longer lines as word spreads.
